Second Sitting is owned by Carolyn Dickson, an interior designer who serves a large clientele of mobile professionals. After several years of pondering how to help those clients find new homes for their good but unneeded furniture, a friend from Dallas provided the opportunity to decorate her Texas home with consignment store finds. Inspired, Carolyn brought these ideas back from Dallas, and thus began the best little resale shop in St. Louis.  Second Sitting Consignments, Inc. was born in 1994 with just 1000 square feet of retail space at 10410 Manchester Road, in Kirkwood, Missouri. Four years later we expanded to a larger space adjacent to the original space. The larger unit has back door access with a dock, a basement for storage and more than double the floor space.
Second Sitting Consignments is a member of the National Association of Resale and Thrift Stores (NARTS).Our staff of friendly, helpful and knowledgeable personnel, with the help of other talented and creative individuals has grown into what has been described as St. Louis best kept secret and favorite new place to shop. |
